ABILITIES GUILD

The Abilities Guild is an organization of women and men that raises awareness and funds for the Abilities Foundation.

Purpose

The purpose of the Guild is to...

    Serve as ambassadors to broaden the base of the community awareness of
    the availibility and function of the Abilities Foundation

    Support the Abilities Foundation in fundraising events and capital campaign efforts

    Serve in any other capacity deemed advisable in assisting the Abilities Foundation
    to work on behalf of people with disabilities

The Guild supports the Foundation through leadership, volunteerism, and sponsorship of special events such as the Abilities Wine & Food Festival, Updegraff Vision Celebrity Golf Challenge, wine dinners, and tastings. 

Achievements
 
Since its inception in 1980, the Guild has contributed more than $1.7 million in support of the Abilities Foundation. Last year alone, the Guild was credited with amassing 2,250 volunteer hours, which, when combined with the Abilities Foundation volunteer hours, amounted to a volunteer service-hours value of $82,880!
