Abilities Foundation
The Abilities Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has helped thousands of Floridians with all types of disabilities obtain mainstream jobs and affordable housing. The Foundation supports Abilities, Inc. of Florida, a Clearwater, Florida-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides employment, housing, and health services to people with disabilities.
In 2007 alone, Abilities placed 1,008 people in jobs with 832 different companies at salaries totaling $20.3 million, and helped hundreds secure affordable housing! Thanks to Abilities, these consumers are no longer dependent upon government or families for support, but rather, they are contributing to the economic life and strength of our communities.
